Individual therapy

Weekly support, shaped around you.

Individual therapy is where most people start. Sessions are 60 minutes, virtual and usually weekly, for OCD, health anxiety, phobias and panic. The work is structured, hands-on and always built around your goals.

What sessions look like

Structured and active.

My sessions aren't just talk therapy. We talk, of course, but most of our time goes to doing the work, like planning and facing fears together, practicing new responses and building the skills to stay steady. If you're looking for a more traditional talk therapist, I'm probably not the right fit.

In a typical session, we'll:

  • Review your practice since last time and what you learned from it
  • Work on a target together, like an exposure we plan and do in session
  • Set up your practice for the week ahead, at a pace that feels challenging but doable
  • Build steadying skills for the harder moments
  • Sometimes bring in a partner or family member, with your consent, so they understand the work and know how to support you

I also offer coaching between sessions, mainly during exposures, or when you're really triggered and your tools aren't helping. It isn't crisis support.
